Dr. Asif Qadri, MD
Dr. Asif M Qadri is a physician who was initially Board Certified in Internal Medicine and then subsequently Gastroenterology and Hepatology. During his Internal Medicine (IM) residency, his excellent care of patients and medical knowledge led to him being named a outstanding first-year and second-year resident. Ultimately Dr. Qadri served as Chief Resident during the final year of his Medicine residency. After completing his IM program, Dr. “Q”, as he is commonly known, went on to complete a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology. He served as Chief Fellow during his last two years of training.
In 2008, Dr. Qadri and his family moved down to Georgia taking a job and helping build a local GI practice. Athens Digestive was created in 2014 by Dr. Qadri to serve the people of Northeast Georgia in a unique medical manner.
